Mahananda endeavors to meet the primary medical needs of the local community by organizing health camps. During these recurring sessions free medical examinations are provided by volunteering professionals. Vaccines and medical supplies are also provided free.

Impart community health awareness

A drinking water distribution system has been established using a deep tube-well, 25,000-gallon water tank and extended supply line to provide free, safe drinking water to about 200 families every day. This water resource facility was built with partial help from a semi-government organization.

Mahananda organizes trainings in order to educate the community about maternity and reproductive health. The trust is also working diligently on “child marriage prevention” issue through cultural awareness, social awareness and local government agencies.
